DR. LORINO
Dr. Robert Lorino feels extremely proud and lucky to be an orthodontist. To him, when prospective patients choose him to provide them with beautiful smiles, it is a true honor. Dr. Lorino is passionate about helping people improve their appearance, no matter how small or large their problem is. He finds it very satisfying to see each patient progress through treatment until they reach their final result. He loves seeing how excited they are when treatment is completed, and to see that their confidence has changed as much as their smile. Dr. Lorino greatly appreciates that his patients take their dental health seriously, and that he has the opportunity to positively affect their lives through orthodontics.

Dr. Lorino’s goal is to treat each patient as effectively and efficiently as possible. To this end, he continues his education constantly, keeping abreast of the latest advancements in dentistry and orthodontics. OUTSIDE THE OFFICE
Dr. Lorino grew up in Franklin Lakes and returned to his hometown after orthodontic specialty training to open his own practice. When he’s not in the office, Dr. Lorino enjoys working out, playing sports, working in the yard, and spending time with his family.
Dr. Lorino has always supported the local schools, extra-curricular programs, and sports whenever he’s had the opportunity. He understands the importance of being involved with and supporting the community, whether it is monetarily or by donating his services. It makes Dr. Lorino feel especially fortunate to give back to those who have supported him over the years.

DR. PARALKAR
Dr. Gi Gi Paralkar was born and raised in Belleville, New Jersey. She attended Boston University and graduated in 2002 with a degree in Biomedical Engineering. She went on to work for IBM as an IT Consultant for five years prior to following in her father’s footsteps in dentistry. Dr. Gi Gi went on to obtain dental education from Columbia University and graduated at the top of her class with numerous awards and honors including the American Association of Oral Biologists Award as well as the Dean’s Scholar Award and Commendation for Academic Excellence.
She served as the Past President of the American Association of Women Dentists (AAWD) while at Columbia University. She then pursued a specialty residency in Orthodontics at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey (UMDNJ now Rutgers University). While at Rutgers University, Dr. Gi Gi had the honor of being chosen as chief resident of the Orthodontics program.
Dr. Gi Gi has participated in many research projects, presenting her findings at professional meetings and in professional journals. In addition, she is a board certified Orthodontist with the American Board of Orthodontics. She belongs to numerous professional organizations including the New Jersey Dental Association, New York State Dental Association, and the American Association of Orthodontists.
Dr. Gi Gi and her husband Michael have been married for eight years. They live with her mother and their cat Gizmo in northern New Jersey. In her spare time, she enjoys being physically active by training with kettlebells. She also loves to read, cook, and spend time with her niece and nephew. Dr. Gi Gi loves practicing orthodontics and helping both children and adults achieve the smile they’ve always wanted. Her knowledge of the latest techniques, including Invisalign® and braces, and her friendly, relaxed demeanor make everyone comfortable right away.
